The Municipal Art Gallery of Chania
The Municipality of Chania is now active within the field of Culture, especially in Fine Arts. Whatever was for decades only a vision for the people of Chania is now alive thanks to the opening of the Municipal Art Gallery.
The gallery presents a remarkable collection of artworks acquired by the city over the years. The aim is to use the gallery not just as a museum but also as a centre of cultural education comprising art, science and speech with fine arts as its basis.

Free admittance for schoolchildren, students, artists (with demonstration of the Artistic Chamber Identification), minors up to 17 years old and seniors (60 and older).
